The Forest Stewardship Council™
The FSC™ is a non-profit organization that promotes global management of forests. They have created a global forestry certification system that has been established for maintaining forests and forest products. This system is called the Chain of Custody, which allows the tracking of FSC™ certified material from the forest to the consumer. Health Mate follows this Chain of Custody and is certified from beginning to end product to not only manufacture a complete green product, but to also become a certified green company.
Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification
PEFC, originating from Geneva, Switzerland, is the largest and only international forest certification system. Following their international and intergovernmental guidelines, we plant 10 new Cedar Wood trees around the old growth before cutting it down, to sustain harvest levels and new growth in the forest, committing to the protection of biodiversity and wildlife habitats.
