What are the shipping options for my sauna?

Once you’ve found the right sauna, you’ll need to coordinate with your sauna specialist to find the right shipping option for you. At Health Mate, we offer three different delivery tiers:

  1. Standard Delivery
  2. Front Door Delivery
  3. Indoor Delivery

1. What is Standard Delivery?

Standard delivery involves the drivers bringing the unassembled sauna to the curb of your residence or other specified delivery destination. This option is suitable for those who have homes close to the curb and are capable of moving the individual sauna pieces without professional assistance. Fortunately our saunas can be assembled by two people in less than an hour.

2. What is Front Door Delivery?

Front door delivery entails drivers bringing the unassembled sauna to your front door or garage door. It’s important to note that this option excludes delivery to 2nd-floor entryways, moving up steep ramps, or stairs. Additional floors may have varying costs. In the event there are no elevators, or if the product cannot fit in an elevator thereby requiring products to be delivered in individual intervals as loose items, additional charges may apply.

3. What is Indoor Delivery?

Indoor delivery involves the sauna being delivered inside, unassembled. The designated room/garage must have sufficient space for the sauna to enter in its entirety, and there should be ample clear floor space to maneuver. It’s important to note that workers will not move furniture as part of this delivery option.

4. Do you offer White Glove Delivery?

White Glove delivery is a premium service that includes indoor delivery and assembly of the sauna. We currently do not offer White Glove delivery.

How can I prepare for my sauna delivery?

The first thing you should do is plan exactly where you want to put your sauna in your home. Here are some factors to keep in mind when mapping your space:

  • Door clearance. You’ll want to make sure that your sauna will not be blocking the door and that nothing will block the door to your sauna opening fully.
  • Outlet location. Your sauna needs to be plugged directly into an outlet and cannot be run through an extension cord. It may also require a specialized outlet. Make sure that there is an appropriate outlet located near where you plan to put your sauna.
  • Coverage. If you plan to put your sauna outside, you must put it under an awning or other permanent roof to protect form the element. You will also need to purchase a cover.

Next, you’ll need to make a clear path from the entrance to your home to where you plan to put the sauna. This means clearing furniture and objects that might get bumped while moving the sauna or it’s parts.

Finally, make sure that someone responsible will be at home to inspect and accept the delivery. If there is any visible damage to your delivery, do not accept it. For more details about inspecting and accepting deliveries, speak to your sauna specialist.

How much does delivery cost?

The cost of delivery depends on your location, the type of delivery, and the sauna model. The cost of freight can range between $150 and $600 (or even more!). However, we frequently offer free and discounted shipping in our promotions, so please reach out to one of our sauna specialists to get the best deal. We don’t want delivery to be the reason you can’t enjoy the benefits of infrared sauna.
