What are the shipping options for my sauna?

How is my sauna delivered?

By freight truck, crated on a pallet, to your curb — or the end of your driveway, or the nearest point the truck can safely reach. The carrier calls ahead to schedule an appointment, and someone 18 or older needs to sign for it.

Will the driver bring it inside, into my garage, or up my stairs?

No. Freight drivers deliver to the curb and no further. That’s an industry-wide liability rule rather than a Health Mate policy — it’s how every sauna shipped by freight arrives, whatever the brand.

Plan on two able adults to move the panels from the curb, or arrange local help for delivery day.

Do you offer inside delivery or installation?

No. All Health Mate saunas ship curbside. We don’t offer inside delivery, room-of-choice placement, stair carry, unpacking, assembly, or packaging removal. We’d rather tell you that clearly before you order than surprise you on delivery day.

How much does shipping cost?

How long will it take?

7-12 business days from order to delivery. You’ll get tracking when it ships, and the freight terminal nearest you will call to schedule a delivery window once it arrives in your area.

Do I need to be home?

Yes. Someone 18 or older has to be there to receive the shipment and sign the delivery receipt. If the carrier can’t reach you to schedule, or nobody’s there for a scheduled appointment, the terminal may charge storage or redelivery fees. Those pass through to you, so it’s worth answering that call.

How heavy is it, and how many people do I need?

Your sauna arrives as flat-packed panels on a pallet. Individual panels are manageable, but they’re not light. Plan on at least two able adults for smaller models and more for larger ones. Check your model’s specifications sheet for panel count and weight.

What if my driveway is long, steep, gated, or hard to reach?

Tell us before you order. If a full-size freight truck can’t safely reach your address, the carrier will place the shipment at the nearest point it can — which may be some distance from your house. Knowing in advance means we can plan for it. Finding out on delivery day usually means a rescheduled appointment and extra carrier fees.

Do I need an electrician?

It depends on your model. Your sauna plugs directly into an outlet and can’t run on an extension cord. Some models need a dedicated circuit. Check your specifications sheet, and if yours does need one, book the electrician before your sauna arrives.

How hard is assembly?

2 – people, 30 – 60 minutes or less to assemble. Panels connect to each other, the heaters plug in, and all the hardware you need is in the box. Instructions ship with the sauna, and our support team is available if you get stuck.

What do I do with the packaging?

Disposal is up to you, and there’s a fair amount of it — cardboard, protective wrap, the pallet itself. Before you throw anything out, check every box. Hardware is often packed inside the larger cartons.

What if something arrives damaged?

Check the crate and cartons before you sign. If anything looks dented, crushed, punctured, or dropped, write it on the delivery receipt — be specific — and photograph it before moving anything. Open the boxes as soon as you can afterward, since damage inside an intact-looking box does happen. Report the same day if damaged. Do not accept if you see damage.
